2023 Polestar 2 BST edition 230
Polestar has recently announced the release of a new limited-edition model, the BST edition 230, which is part of the Polestar Engineered portfolio. This new model is a follow-up to the BST edition 270, which was released last year and was known for its exceptional chassis modifications that provided an ultimate driving experience. The new BST edition 230, however, focuses more on performance design details.
The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 boasts a powerful 476 hp (350 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque. It also features unique design upgrades, including an exclusive green Nebula exterior paint, which is a first for any Polestar product. The interior is also distinct, with MicroSuede textile seats and steering wheel inserts made from partly recycled Nubuck, creating an interior that is unlike any other Polestar 2 on the road. The exterior can also be ordered in Space (black), giving the model a menacing look on any road it may drive. An optional full-length body stripe is also available for either body color.
All the chassis upgrades that were first implemented on the original Polestar 2 BST edition remain included, such as the lowered ride height (-25 mm), specially developed and unique Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers with external reservoir, a front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs, and unique black 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by Polestar 1. The tires are 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero, which were developed specifically for peak performance in Polestar BST edition cars.
Only 230 units of the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 will be produced for the European and North American Polestar markets, with 60 units allocated for the U.S. and Canada. Interested buyers can order the vehicle on a first come, first serve basis at Polestar.com. Deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023.
