A new plug-in hybrid model, the Kodiaq iV, pairs a 1.5-liter TSI engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined output of 150 kW (204 hp). The hybrid system features a battery capacity of 25.7 kWh, enabling an all-electric driving range of over 62 miles (100 kilometers) on the WLTP cycle.
An entry-level 1.5-liter TSI engine equipped with mild-hybrid technology offers 110 kW (150 hp) and optimizes fuel efficiency by recuperating energy during braking and providing electric assistance during acceleration. The lineup also includes a 2.0-liter TSI petrol engine producing 150 kW (204 hp) and two 2.0-liter TDI diesel engines delivering 110 kW (150 hp) and 142 kW (193 hp) respectively. The top-tier petrol and diesel models come standard with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
The Kodiaq's chassis has been refined with the optional DCC Plus Dynamic Chassis Control system, which features adaptive dampers for improved ride comfort and handling dynamics. Drivers can choose from multiple drive modes to tailor the vehicle's performance to various road conditions and personal preferences.
Introducing the Sporty Kodiaq RS
Alongside the standard model, Škoda has introduced the performance-oriented 2025 Kodiaq RS. This variant boasts a more powerful 2.0-liter TSI engine that generates 195 kW (265 hp), an increase over the previous generation. The Kodiaq RS comes standard with all-wheel drive, progressive steering, and DCC Plus for an engaging driving experience.
Distinctive styling cues set the RS apart, including glossy black exterior accents, sporty bumpers, and a front grille featuring a horizontal light strip.
