2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Arrives in the UK Market
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest electric offering, the 2023 EQS SUV, in the UK market. Starting at £129,170 for the AMG Line Premium Plus version, this luxury EV boasts impressive features, technology, and design, making it a strong contender in the rapidly growing electric vehicle segment.
Range and Performance
The EQS SUV comes in two variants: the four-wheel drive EQS 450 4MATIC with up to 365 miles (589 km) of range and the four-wheel drive EQS 580 4MATIC, offering up to 364 miles (586 km) of range. The EQS 450 4MATIC can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 6 seconds, while the EQS 580 4MATIC is even quicker, taking only 4.6 seconds. Both models feature rear-wheel steering with up to 10 degrees as standard, providing agility around town and improved stability and dynamics at higher speeds.
Interior Design and Luxury
The interior of the EQS SUV exudes luxury, with Nappa leather in black or beige colourways and either anthracite wood trim for the AMG Line Premium Plus or ship deck wood for the Business Class trim. Functionality is also prioritised, with seven seats offered as standard in the EQS SUV.
Advanced Technology
Technology is at the forefront of the EQS SUV, with the Mercedes-Benz Hyperscreen infotainment system, Heads-Up display, Burmester sound system complete with Dolby Atmos, and the latest generation MBUX infotainment system. The "Hey Mercedes" interior assistant allows drivers to control various vehicle functions, such as interior lighting colours and locating the nearest EV rapid charger, using voice commands.
