For 2017 model year Mercedes-AMG started offering entry-level performance models with "43" badges. In some cases, as with the C450, AMG 43's will replace non-AMG models and bring more identity to the cars.

2017 AMG GLC43 Coupe is all new
2017 AMG GLE43 SUV is all new
2017 AMG GLE43 Coupe will replace GLE450 Coupe
Mercedes-AMG C43 Sedan replaces Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG for 2017 model year. Power stays the same generated from its V6 biturbo engine. Zero to 60 mph time has improved by .2 seconds; AMG C43 Sedan now reaches 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. With the new name comes stronger sports identity, which also bumped the base MSRP by $1,200.
