LUMMA CLR SV Range Rover Sport
The most potent Range Rover ever, the 550hp SVR, is cast as one of the automotive stars in ‘Spectre’, the latest James Bond movie, which opens in German cinemas on November 5. Just in time for this eagerly awaited debut, LUMMA Design presents their unique body styling kit for the high performance British SUV, along with a performance bump of up to 680 hp for the export only tune.
Based on their very successful CLR RS conversion, the LUMMA CLR SV styling kit further extends the tough image of the Range Rover Sport. The most obvious changes to the nose treatment are larger lateral air inlet grilles in the bumper, a slat-free front grill to provide more cooling air, and a redesigned spoiler. The more aggressive face that results from these changes gives the LUMMA CLR SV Range Rover Sport even greater overtaking presence when other drivers see it coming in their rear view mirrors.
And once the CLR SV has blown past, you can see that the rear has been redesigned to match, with a new rear spoiler and distinctive rectangular exhaust outlets flanking a revised rear diffuser, a variant of which is also available for vehicles with a tow bar. A large, powerful SUV like this needs wheels and tyres like LUMMA’s elegant 12.0J x 22-inch alloy wheels, shod with 305/35R22 Vredestein tyres. The combination fills the wheel arches perfectly, giving the CLR SV its purposeful stance. The image is finessed by the colour-coded brake calipers behind these big wheels.
LUMMA carry their design flair into the CLR SV cabin so that its occupants always feel special. The bespoke craftsmanship begins with an ergonomically shaped thick-rimmed sport steering wheel, and rises to quilted leather sports seats with seams in a contrasting colour. If a client so wishes, LUMMA’s artisans can embroider the owner’s initials onto the seat backrests.
Black aluminium foot pedals add a sporting touch to the drivers’ footwell, while all the carpets are protected by high quality floor mats, featuring real leather piping and an embroidered LUMMA crest. The LUMMA coat of arms can also be found embossed on the centre console, and the seat belts are colour coded.
For those who want to play in the James Bond league technically as well as visually, LUMMA offers a range of performance enhancements to lift engine performance to the next level.
LUMMA’s electronics engineers carefully remapped the 5.0 litre V8’s ECU, for a supercar baiting 630 hp. For certain export markets that do not require EC emissions certification, up to 680 hp is possible. Apart from this export-only engine upgrade, all other LUMMA CLR SV components are German TUV certified.
LUMMA would like to point out that no relationship with producers of the James Bond films or the owners of their trademarks exists or is implied.
