For decades the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has set the standards in the vehicle class of luxury sedans: Engineering improvements, safety and comfort define its pioneering approach. At the height of the development of the current generation, Carlsson presents the special limited edition Carlsson CS 60 for the Chinese market, based on the Mercedes-Benz S 600 (type V 221).
The most distinctive modification is provided by the Carlsson aerodynamic package made up of high-quality components. The front skirt extension guarantees a sporty appearance, while the flow-optimized Carlsson parts produce more downforce, thus improving the car’s road grip. At the same time, the new front of the CS 60 with its characteristic grille inserts made of electro-polished stainless steel ensures an elegant look. The side skirts with integrated grille inserts made of stainless steel make the side view of the Mercedes-Benz appear even more dynamic and powerful. Four additional lights (fog lights and high beam lights) as well as vertical LED daytime running lights guarantee safety day and night. The package is completed by a redesigned rear skirt extension including a small rear spoiler. Moreover, the Carlsson sport rear silencer with its four oval tail-pipes provides the Chinese customer with a powerful appearance.
High-performance tires (255/35 ZR 20 front and 275/35 ZR 20 rear) provide contact to the road and cover the elegant 20-inch light alloy wheels 1/10 Brilliant Edition.
The refinement of the interior promises a high degree of luxury, particularly in the range-topping variant Carlsson CS 60 Royale. The insignia on the centre console with the continuous number and the signature of Carlsson CEO Markus Schuster signal highest exclusivity. The Carlsson logo can be found embossed in the headrests and as a blue illuminated lettering on the door sill panels. Furthermore, it can also be seen on the Carlsson aluminium pedal set and footrest, pointing to the exclusive refinement at Gut Wiesenhof.
With the refined S-Class, Carlsson underlines the own know-how in terms of the refinement of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The flagship of the Stuttgart based manufacturer’s model line-up undergoes individualisation at all levels – sportiness, exclusivity and luxury.
