2025 Bentley Flying Spur: A Facelift with Power and Precision

The 2025 Bentley Flying Spur emerges as a refreshed version of its predecessor, boasting significant enhancements under the hood while maintaining a familiar exterior. Although labeled as the fourth generation, this model essentially serves as a facelift of the third-generation design, featuring subtle updates such as a redesigned bumper and grille.

Powertrain and Performance

The standout feature of the 2025 Flying Spur is its new 'Ultra Performance Hybrid' powertrain. This system combines a robust 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor, delivering an impressive total output of 782 PS and 1000 Nm of torque. This marks a substantial leap from the previous 2022 Flying Spur Hybrid's combined output of 544 PS and 750 Nm.

Performance figures are equally noteworthy, with the new model achieving 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds—significantly quicker than the previous hybrid model's time of 4.1 seconds. The vehicle also offers an electric range of up to 47 miles, surpassing its predecessor’s estimated all-electric range.

Design Enhancements

While changes to the exterior might seem minimal at first glance, they contribute to a more refined aesthetic. The updated grille and bumper give it a fresh look, alongside options for dark tint brightware and new wheel designs up to 22 inches in size.

The interior continues Bentley’s tradition of luxury with features such as Precision Diamond quilt patterns and Wellness seating options. Advanced technology integration includes an upgraded electrical architecture supporting app integration through 'My Bentley App Studio'.

Driving Dynamics and Features

Bentley has equipped this model with several systems aimed at enhancing driving dynamics: Bentley Dynamic Ride, All-Wheel Steering, and an electronically-controlled Limited Slip Differential ensure superior handling capabilities.

The cabin experience is further elevated by three available audio systems, including a high-end Naim system delivering up to 2,200 watts. Safety features have not been overlooked either; Intelligent Park Assist and air quality monitoring are among many conveniences offered.

A Step Forward or Just Another Update?

The latest iteration of the Bentley Flying Spur certainly packs more punch than before but remains visually tethered to its roots—a move that may appeal to traditionalists while leaving some yearning for bolder innovation in design.
