The ABT AS4: A Noteworthy Evolution of the Audi S4
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Audi A4, ABT has revealed its newly remodeled AS4, a model based on the renowned Audi S4. ABT's CEO, Hans-Jürgen Abt, highlights that the AS4 is an integral vehicle for the company as it reflects their ongoing pursuit of redefining the premium standard for medium-sized cars. The state-of-the-art AS4 seems to seamlessly blend sportiness with assertion, potentially serving as an exciting yet reliable choice for automotive enthusiasts.
Performance Upgrades
ABT Sportsline, known for its commitment to offering balanced packages suited to a vehicle's specific requirements, appears to have maintained this standard in the new AS4. The performance upgrades brought to this model are quite impressive. In particular, ABT POWER has amplified the output of the original V6 petrol engine from 333 hp to a whopping 435 hp. This results in a vehicle that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 4.8 seconds, with a top speed reaching up to 282 km/h.
On the diesel front, the 3.0 TDI variant shows a significant upgrade as well, with its horsepower reaching 282 hp, up from the original 245 hp. This increase in power is accompanied by an impressive torque of 560 Nm, a clear step up from the previous 500. Additionally, the 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder version has not been left untouched by ABT's hand, boasting a revised horsepower of 275 hp, up from the initial 211 hp. Each of these engine options seems to promise an enhanced driving experience, characterized by an unmistakable increase in sportiness and agility.
Design Adjustments
