Audi RS7 Sportback Performance
Audi brings even more power to its four-door coupe with RS7 Performance edition. The model that goes on sale starting December of 2015, is priced at $129,000 (excluding $925 destination charges) that is about $22,000 more than the standard RS7 model.
Performance
Thanks to the engineers at quattro GmbH, Audi RS7 Performance's 4.0 turbocharged engine now delivers 605 horsepower (an increase of 45 hp compared to the standard model) and 516 lb-ft of torque (unchanged compared to the standard model) in normal driving mode with an option of increasing it to 553 lb-ft through overboost function. This allows RS7 Performance to catapult from zero to 60 mpg in stunning 3.6 seconds (0.3 faster than the standard model). Top speed is slightly higher than the standard RS7 at 190 mph.
Due to an increase in delivered power, the eight-speed Tiptronic transmission has been tuned to deliver smooth transition of power to the wheels. RS7 Performance has also received new carbon ceramic brakes and Dynamic Ride Control suspension. For better feel of the car the driver has an option of setting Electronic Stabilization Control (ESC) to Sport mode, or completely deactivating it.
Controls
The driver has an option of choosing automatic mode or manual by either changing gears from the lever or through paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Like the R8 supercar, RS7 Performance now provides an option for the driver of choosing auto, comfort, dynamic, and individual modes directly from a special button placen on the RS multifunction steering wheel. The driver also can adjust key functions such as steering, engine, and sound.

Design
Compared to the standard RS7, Performance model has a slightly redesigned rear bumper with air diffuser. Interior matches the standard RS7 with an option of having blue stitching Alcantara with carbon inlays and black Valcona leather.
Exclusive for RS Performance models Audi offers special 21-inch aluminum wheels. Also exclusive for the RS Performance models is the Ascari blue finish paint.
